Job description

This team works closely with data science teams of the groups' businesses located across 40 different countries, serving hundreds of millions of customers. Across the team they work on a broad range of machine learning initiatives, all the way from testing the latest models in NLP, to training large computer vision models, to advising the management teams across our businesses and looking for interesting AI companies to invest in. You would join an international group of experienced machine learning professionals with diverse backgrounds and skill sets.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead and collaborate with teams to build high-quality and effective ML solutions that can be integrated and scaled into product

  • Define and meet ambitious impact goals

  • Present, explain and provide advice on machine learning applications to a diverse set of stakeholders (thought leadership)

  • Collaborate with a global community of 250+ data scientists on end-to-end ML projects

  • Shape the use of next-generation ML technologies in the products being built for hundreds of millions of customers

Requirements

Minimum qualifications

  • Relevant experience to the position such as data scientist, and a proven track record putting machine learning systems into production

  • Expertise in a specific machine learning area such as computer vision OR natural language processing OR explainable AI

  • Excellent communicator: ability to read, understand, and explain to others, scientific papers on state-of-the-art machine learning and computer science, as well as the ability to prototype, evaluate and improve the ideas described

  • A real passion for AI

 

Preferred qualifications

  • Masters or PhD in machine learning (or related technical field) or equivalent practical experience.
  • Several years of working experience
