Job description

  • Together with the Business Architect(s) define the business concepts and services that are the base for our solutions
  • Understanding the business domain (market, propositions, products & services, processes & organisation) and design solutions that matches the strategy of the client:
  • Derive patterns and make sure our designs have a solid foundation to build upon, with properly defined applications and modules
  • Experienced in designing functionality, processes, conceptual & logical data model and interfaces
  • Co-create designs together with your BE colleagues and our IT developers, adapting and documenting designs
  • Training and counselling other designers within the team to make sure designs meet expectations
  • Help designers to translate the designs into user stories – ready to test & build
  • Being able to propagate our vision and propositions, more specific on the area of Domain Driven Design
  • You will take design solutions from a Business perspective. You are a steady and flexible person that can design patterns and help to bring our end-to-end delivery strategy to the next level.

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in IT / Information Management or relatable
  • At least 2 years of systems and process design experience, preferable within the Finance domain, for example as a business analyst, functional software designer or product owner
  • The capability to switch between a high level conceptual view and concrete examples
  • A very good listener and able to explain concepts and design patterns visually
  • The ability to convince people and an open attitude to cooperate with development
  • Being able to analyse and visualize constructions and functionality
  • Preferable: Experience with Domain Driven Design & the Novius framework
  • Fluent in English AND Dutch

What is your life quote / life motto?
To be cheerful and keep on smiling is in my opinion one of the most important things, so I would say don’t take life too seriously and try to enjoy it as much as possible.

What is your tip in recruitment/consulting?
Within recruitment it is important to get to know someone really well in order to help them as much as possible, so my tip would be: Make it personal!

What is your goal for 2022
I am a sporty guy so staying healthy and fit is one of the things I always prioritise. I would also like to continue to seek out more challenges within VYE in order to master the recruitment/consultancy profession as much as possible. I am also increasingly involved in supervising/training colleagues and I have noticed that I enjoy doing this a lot, so I would like to get more involved and develop myself in this area.
