Job description

This team works closely with data science teams of the groups' businesses located across 40 different countries, serving hundreds of millions of customers. Across the team they work on a broad range of machine learning initiatives, all the way from testing the latest models in NLP, to training large computer vision models, to advising the management teams across our businesses and looking for interesting AI companies to invest in. You would join an international group of experienced machine learning professionals with diverse backgrounds and skill sets.

Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities for machine learning in the group (investments, innovation projects, etc.), aiming to radically improve customer experiences or impact broader business metrics

  • Scope and lead machine learning projects to build high-quality and effective ML solutions that can be integrated and scaled into products, used by millions of customers every day

  • Present, explain and provide advice on machine learning applications to a diverse set of stakeholders across the broader data science community as well as business and product leaders

  • Define and meet ambitious impact goals

  • Work with internal and external collaborators

Requirements

  • Minimum qualifications:

    • A real passion for AI

    • Relevant experience to the position such as entrepreneurship, product ownership or consulting, and a proven track record of delivering business impact with machine learning.

 

Preferred qualifications:

  • Masters or PhD in a technical field or equivalent practical experience is preferred

  • You are an independent thinker with entrepreneurial mindset: curious and continuously searching for new knowledge and opportunities, able to make the most of an unconstrained work environment
